Step into Life specialises in group outdoor training for people of all ages and fitness levels.
You will find training with Step into Life in Bicentennial Park, West Pymble varied, fun, social and encouraging. You will meet new people that share your need to get healthy and fitter. People that will also encourage you to keep taking steps on your health and fitness journey. Our members range from students to retirees, business workers to stay at home mums. All working towards their own fitness goals regardless of their current fitness level.

I've been with SIL Pymble for 5 years now, and I still love going! Even after all this time I'm still learning and improving, and challenging myself to new things. My motivation to continue training is primarily because of Richard, the personal trainer, his knowledge, understanding and his ability to mix sessions up regularly to keep the programme fresh. As a result he has a large following of dedicated followers, many who have now become firm friends - it is a great thing to exercise and socialise at the same time! Give it a go, you'll get fit and have fun too.

I've never been athletic -- more of a busy mum who walks the dog -- but Richard has really changed how I see myself. My husband and I joined Richard's class in January 2015, and now, for the first time in my life, I'm starting to feel like an athlete. I used to watch people running or doing sport and think "That's just not me" but now I know that it CAN be me. My favourite thing about this group is Richard's teaching. You're never meant to feel slow or inadequate. He just starts you where you are, and moves you a little higher every week. The people in our classes are fun to be with. We laugh a lot and we just get on with it. Many people have an injury here or there, and Richard constantly accommodates the training for bad knees or shoulders, giving everyone individual attention and even individualised exercises to compensate. Love going here. Always had trouble staying motivated going to the gym, and ended up wasting dollars and time. Richard stops you procrastinating and gives you all the tools to get you going, but also keep you from sabotaging yourself. Fitter & stronger now than I was 15 years ago! A super friendly environment, plenty of range of sessions. Love the fit boxing, and core toning with the ball - time flies, then you realise what a great workout it was later. Highly recommended!

This is the best training group I've ever joined and really love it. The sessions are varied, challenging and refreshing each time and it's great being outdoors. Richard runs the sessions brilliantly and it never gets boring. A good balance of hard work but fun at the same time. I love the fact that there is such a varied group of people who attend, demonstrating that there is something for everyone. The number and flexibility of sessions is a real bonus, allowing you to accommodate a busy work/family life and a husband who travels a lot. Richard offers a lot of help and advice during the session to ensure you are carrying out exercises correctly and safely and there is always alternatives if you do have an issue with an injury etc. I will never set foot in a gym again #reviewtowin
