Receptionist is extremely rude and disrespectful.Steve seems to really pleasant and quite an efficient accountant but takes forever to process and lodge returns and even longer to deposit any return back to you. Will never use them again because of the attitude of the receptionist and I think her influence is strong in the business and possibly why their service is so poor. Proceed with caution.

I was over charged and it took a whole year to get my money back. This was due to them not returning calls or emails. The worst service I have received in years. The receptionist Kay needs to find another job because she is clearly miserable. Since changing accountants I have found out I was charged for services that I was not given. Do not use these guys.

Have no doubt Steve is an excellence Accountant. I’ve always had reasonable dealings with him and generally happy with my returns. However, the staff he keeps as his administration are undoubtedly letting his business down.

I’ve been a client for many years. But the last two to three years have been almost intolerable. In fact, it has. I’m in the process now of changing accountants.

Left this accounting firm due to refusal to return phone calls, billed me for services they did not provide, late lodgement, did not forward company statement from ASIC resulting in $500 late fees, and were overall completely unprofessional. I changed accountants, and Steven MacDonald refuses to forward my previous tax records and will not answer any questions my new accountant has. Steer clear of this business.

First year with Steve. The girls are super friendly and answered all my questions. Steve fixed up my tax from last year that I did myself. I ended up with a refund and only cost me $154. Definetly couldnt do better myself :)
