I had 5 treatments of sclerotherapy by Dr Stewart and my legs were getting worse. Dr Stewart does not do an ultrasound to investigate the cause of surface veins. I asked after my 5 th visit why treatment is not working and I had to ask to have an ultrasound to diagnose. An ultrasound should have been carried out on the first consultation. I did not return for the ultrasound, I went to a specialist who actually investigates the cause rather than put a bandaid on the surface. Treatments cost $2,500 with Dr Stewart. Complete waste of money! I would not recommend to anyone needing surface veins to be treated. My surface veins were due to underlying issues that have now been treated by a specialist.
