After someone drove into the back of my car, my insurance company wanted me to take my car to Stewart's Smash Repairs. I needed a new bumper, the hatchback boot door straightened out and resprayed and something done to the frame because the boot was now a few inches shorter than it used to be. I was nervous if they'd do a good job or not, especially reading the few mostly negative reviews. There was absolutely no need to be. I found Stewart's Smash Repairs to be professional and helpful and they did an excellent job. They estimated 8 days for the repair and it took eight days, I received SMS updates on the progress of my repair, they helped me arrange a no-fault hire car rental (no cost to me) and when I picked the car up it was as good as new and washed. As much as it's a real inconvenience to get your car repaired this was as easy and painless as it could have been and I can only recommend them.
Been taking my cars here over a period of 4 years and every time it takes longer than what the quote is and you have to keep ringing them and hassling them to get answers, normally when you ring them to see where the car is at they never ring back with an answer. The most recent time of taking the car there they parked the car across the road with the keys in the ignition with all the doors unlocked for 2 hours after they had finished with it until I got there to collect it, anybody could of taken it if they wanted to steal a car and when confronted about it they acted like it was no big deal. The car was returned smothered in bog dust inside and out and not washed off, and had more scratches on it after collection then when it arrived. the WORST people in business avoid altogether.
