Sticky Bar
A unique restaurant concept.Table For 20 in Surry Hills has a truly unique concept with an Italian cuisine.
The idea of the concept is to share a table of 20 with friends and strangers and enjoy a friendly atmosphere with a three course set menu.
Table For 20 holds "dinner parties" from Wednesday till Saturday and a booking is highly essential because of its popularity and the word of mouth that attracts more and more people.
Venture upstairs from the quirky-cool Table for 20 restaurant – where diners sit at communal tables and pass around platters of food – and you’ll find Sticky, which is just as intimate and every bit as much fun. Open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 6.30pm, the bar offers a limited range of wines and Italian beers but, as the name suggests, the specialty of the house is the ‘sticky’, or dessert wine. You don’t have to eat at Table for 20 to drink at Sticky, though it’s certainly
easier to find from the restaurant than via its unassuming entry in Taggarts Lane. ...read more

LOVE the ambiance here. Has a secret feel to it, and very prohibition styled entry. Bar staff are wicked cool, no their liquor and make a mean cocktail. If your looking for a shady spot to wine and dine with a loved one this is the place. There are lots of dark corners, and pillowy arm chairs for those who are part of a larger party. We had a friends birthday here and they even accommodated a messina cake. Raddest bar in Surry. cant wait to get my name at the top of table for 20!
By the time you spend the enforced hour in their sticky bar buying expensive drinks you end up paying way over the $70 per head. They charge booked numbers rather than heads on the night, because of some line about fresh seasonal produce bought only on the day: its not, its readily available and freezable. This is also their excuse for refusing to give you any menu (but expect you to commit to thousands of dollars for a large table). Why would anyone would book here instead of a restaurant where you can choose between a range of dishes a la carte is beyond me.Their cash only policy because of some charity excuse is a bit dubious to say the least...
Very cook - i love that you need to text for them to open the doors. And the entrance is secluded in a back street, rather than entering from Campbell Street. The atmosphere is uber cool and warm, the decor is retro, the service is great/fun. Plus the food at Table for 20 is amazing.
