Stillwater at Crittenden

We went in a group of 6. Fantastic service, great food. All of us left very, very happy. No doubt, I've been to places with a better internal ambience, but look outside & it's glorious. Great value as far as we were concerned.

Went to this restaurant as they claim to be kind of top of the range : however a disappointing experience. The Restaurant itself lacks atmosphere, no pictures, paintings or mirrors on the wall. Very clinical it is. White paper is placed on top of the white table-cloths which is more to be found in casual eateries. No flowers and certainly NO ATTENTION TO DETAIL. The Table d'Hote does not compared favourably to others which are currently available for lunches (and not only in the Mornington Peninsula).

Our feedback was in words "appreciated" but, actually it was not. Therefore, wrong attitudes and lack of customer care. We went for the first time and to also check if suitable for a forthcoming function: glad we went , was not a good experience and will not consider this venue again. By the way, we eat out weekly and not only in Melbourne or Victoria.
