I have used Stix Catering on several occasions for both private parties at home, and at my place of work for corporate catering. The service has been exceptional on every occasion, and the canapes innovative and delicious. My personal favourite is the Mini Wagyu beef cheeseburger, zuni pickle, tomato relish - just fantastic! Stix are my "go to caterer" everytime.
Whilst the food was tasty, we didn't get what we ordered and paid for. I was left with a number of hungry guests because, despite paying for and agreeing to amend the canape menu to include more veggo and less meat options, what I picked up and had to serve was the original menu with plenty of meat canapes and not the extra veggo ones. I got a refund for the extra I had to pay to reduce the meat quantity, but nothing else, no gesture of good will or offer of a few bucks off for the stuff up. I didn't want a freebie, but an offer to compensate would have been the right, customer service oriented thing to do. Would love to have used them again, and recommend them but could not feel confident in doing so:(
