Shopping Centres
Stockland
149 West Burleigh Rd
Burleigh Heads, QLD, 4220
What I particularly liked about this little Stockland is it is not as chaotic as the larger shopping centres within the area and is a great little place for the locals to duck in and out and grab last minute lunchbox items or something for dinner. Despite its size it does offer a number of large chain stores such as a full sized Woolworths (very good prices I must say), a Big W (hallelujah), Bakers Delight, EB Games, local butcher and a nice selection of speciality clothes and beauty stores.
The dcor is modern, large and does not feel overfilled. My only gripe was with the parking situation which I realise has been a complaint amongst a few other reviewers here. The spaces are tight and there is little undercover parking which thankfully it is sunny QLD as this could cause a lot of problems on rainy days.
Great Stocklands Shopping Centre on Reedy Creek Road, Burleigh. Lots of parking surrounding the Centre. Some of it is under shade sails.
There's a Big W, Woolies, Rockmans, Reject Shop, jewelers, Sussan, Lovisa, Dick Smith, a few banks & atm's, phone shops, a food court with a Maccas & Zarraffas, florist, Post Office, hairdressers, and soon there'll be an Aldi there also.
Just a short walk across the carpark is a huge Bunnings, Spotlight, Sam's Warehouse, tyre place, lighting shop, a surf shop, etc.
No matter what you're looking for, you should be able to locate it here!
Good little local centre with all you need for groceries and a cuppa. Nice selection of specialty stores, BigW and Woollies. Has been a good haunt for locals and holiday makers in the Burleigh area for years. Parking partly under sails, rest in the open and right next to the Bunnings Centre, Spotlight and Tyre Shop.
I like this shopping centre as it has a lot of variety, whilst still having the big key players (Woolworths, Bakers Delight, Big W). Bunnings is right next door as is Spotlight.
I like Sussan as the staff are really lovely and the clothes well priced and good quality. The surf shop up the top end is OK, although a bit outdated. Zarrafas has brilliant coffee - my favourite is the Mocha Fusion.
