Stone Grill Penrith

I went here recently with a dinner-buddie and we had a great time, good drinks and I had a giggle at myself feeling like Hannibal Lecter searing off my meat. It wasn't a bad price and it was fun. For the novelty, definitely go at least once, but not somewhere I could dine in every week.

Disgusting. Never going back. There was a live crawling ant on our entree !!! No manager or anybody came over to apologize. Our waiter just replaced. Then throughout entire meal no one came over to see if we wanted another drink, weren't asked how our meal was, weren't offered dessert. The place wasn't even busy. The decor was so old and outdated as well. Then when had to settle our bill our ant crawling entree hadn't been discounted and the management was unbelievably rude saying because was a live ant could have got there anyway !!! Didn't understand why we thought was unsatisfactory in a expensive restaurant to find ant on plate. Such a joke. Honestly couldn't get over this attitude and the manner of speaking to us. Will never go back there again and advise you the same

Had my 30th birthday there and without requesting it they had it set up in their board room so we were separate from the rest of their customers. It allowed us to have a more personalised experience with their staff coming in to see if we wanted anything or needed anything (cake caking etc) constantly. The owner was extremely pleasant and charming from the moment I made the phone call to book everything in to the moment we were leaving for the night. Great atmosphere.

Been to Stone Grill twice and both times have been great. The pricing is slightly high, however having said this, it's well worth it as the food is great. It's always good to go here as a little treat as you get the experiance of the Stone to cook your meat on. Will return, but only on special occasions as the 'fad' of the Stone Grill wont be as exciting if we go back to often.
