Little Cooper Creek, which runs through the middle of Stonewood Retreat, supplies crystal clear swimming holes, unlimited electricity and chemical free, mineral rich water you can drink. It is spring fed and comes from a source high up on Thornton Peak.
Daintree Rainforest Retreat Natural Pools:
The natural rock pools are set amongst the most stunning rainforest in our region. Only a short stroll from the property, the crystal clear pools are simply enchanting.
You can literally spend hours swimming in our refreshing rock pool or just laze on the giant sun warmed rocks, taking in the views and the ambiance of the Daintree Rainforest.
Natural waterfalls, the gentle but powerful presence of ancient trees and various birds singing, provide a unique insight into this special place.
