Stony Point Caravan Park

If you want a slice of heaven then Stone Point Caravan Park is the place to go.

To start of with the peace and quiet and lovely sea views.The wharf is just a 2minute walk which is fishing at your door step, or a minute drive to the boat ramp.

Gary and Diana are wonderful managers, who keep a wonderful peaceful clean and maintained park. Dogs are welcome. My 2 dogs love it when I go down there they know when we are on our way. As I said it is just a peace of heaven, it's peaceful, tranquility, friendly people in the park good views, train at your door step, fairy across to the islands,corner shop, wharf and boat ramp. If this is what you like this is the place for you. I have been down here several times. It is the place i go to unwind and relax and let the world pass me by.

I cannot rate this camping ground highly enough. Staff were very friendly when they welcomed us. On the first night, some campers were extremely noisy and were up until 3am shouting and fighting. The next day, I texted Dianne to complain. By the time we had returned from breakfast, the noisy revellers had been evicted from the site, much to the relief of several fellow campers. Dianne was very professional and said that we should have called her at 3am as they would have come down to deal with it then. The other nights, it was beautifully quiet and I had the best sleep I have had for months.

Then, on Easter Sunday, Dianne cooked free pancakes for all the guests and her husband dressed up as the Easter Bunny and gave out eggs. A great end to a lovely camping trip. Would definitely come again.

Very badly run park, stay anywhere but never ever bother to stay here..... just ask some of the locals....
