I had my belongings in storage for around 7 months before I decided to move them and take them to the storage shed so my mother could have her garage space back. I had them at the storage shed for approximately 6 months. When I went to collect my belongings they were all covered in mould. I told the office and took them to my storage space and showed them. They laughed at me and said my insurance would not cover that. And it didn't! The insurance policy hardly covers anything so be very careful if you use the insurance they offer you when you get a storage space. My son is highly allergic to mould and everything was far to damaged to keep. I had to bin thousands of dollars worth of belongings and it felt like they all ganged up and made fun of me for being upset.
