We rocked in at nine o’clock, and nearly every table, both indoor and outdoor, was full. After a short wait we’re tucked into a long wooden booth table under a colourful light-up tulip mural, listing to blaring K-pop. An interesting array of banchan hits the table rapid-fire and I’m soon tucking into candied sweet potatoes, eggplant, garlicky spinach, creamed corn with raisins, pickled daikon and (of course) kimchi. In case the abundance of six-person booths doesn’t give it away, Korean food is predicated on sharing with more than just two people. We over-subscribe in order to try two dishes, with a side of Egg Soup ($10). It’s the perfect mouth-healing counterpart to the dish I’m really here for: Cheese Bul Dak ($35) or cheesy fire chicken. This super-spicy, luminous red chicken dish is served on a sizzling platter on a bed of stringy mozzarella cheese. It’s a bit light on the tteok (chewy, glutinous rice cakes) here, but I can’t fault the chook itself.
Korean HOTPOT in winter is the best! I usually get the meat and ramen HOT POT and Spicy fried chiken and cheese to warm me up!
Be warned the chilli fried chicken is extremely spicy!

We ordered the spicy pork soup, the jap chae (glass noddles), seafood pancake, cheese and chilli chicken, and soy chicken. Whilst the serving sizes were quite large and the price was quite reasonable, the dishes were of standard quality at best. And the seafood pancake did not come with its obligatory ...read more
Great spot if you're in the mood for Korean BBQ. Most of the dishes on the menu are good, but my one complaint is that they do not serve chap chae. What Korean restaurant doesn't serve chap chae?
Ask for a seat outside or it can get pretty hot and steamy during dinner. And be prepared to walk away smelling like your dinner.
