Charmaine knows her stuff and is a true professional . Do not go anywhere else for straightening as in the wrong hands this stuff can damage hair . My hair was bleached , coloured and very dry . I had been to other places in Brisbane to get the a retex done and no one would touch it . I stumbled across Charmaine / Sleek and Straight on the Internet and had my hair done last week . Amazing results . I have just done the first wash and it's dried straight with excellent condition . No fried ends and not dry at all much better condition than previously . I used to have this done many years ago also with a Bio Ionic system but it never came out in such good condition as it has this time and I always had some fried ends which I thought was normal . I put this down to Charmaine's experience with the product . It's not cheap but well worth the money . Great result with the smoothing treatment. Very happy and will definitely be back again. Charmaine is very professional and personable. The Agave shampoo and conditioner is also great value and helps to maintain silky hair.

i just have to write this review about my permanent hair straightening experience with Charmaine and Straight and Sleek. It took me a long time to decide on getting the Kerasmooth (semi permanent) or Retex (permanent). I finally went with Retex and am really happy with the professional service. Charmaine only does straightening and devotes herself to ONE client at a time, so products only stay on the minimum time necessary. i went in with coarse, average condition hair & came out with smooth, straight hair that looked about 2-3 inches longer as a result of being straight. So happy with the great price and service. It takes a while - but well worth it.
