This place is on par, so try here instead. I'm a sucker for the laksa - I've had it a couple of times. It's not the best I've ever had, but it still fills the laksa whole. Service is friendly and efficient - they can memorise the orders from a dozen people, and the food somehow comes out right.
Having tried out the 'Straits of Malacca' on Swanston St in the city, I must say I much prefer the latter than this one based in Glen Waverley. The servings at the restaurant in the city is more generous, and more tasty in my opinion. At the 'Straits of Malacca' in Glen Waverley, I tried the Indo style nasi goreng, and it wasn't as tasty as I had hoped. On the other hand, the Hokkien noodle at the store in the city was delicious. I think I know which restaurant I prefer!
