Strandbags

Today my partner and I went into Strandbags to find myself a new purse, after finding one I liked and purchasing it we left to continue shopping when halfway through a transaction at another store my partner was interrupted and accused of stealing a wallet from the store we had just brought an item from, he was made to empty his pockets and lift up his shirt in the middle of the shopping centre amongst others doing their shopping. Even after discovering that he didn't have the wallet nor did I the security staff walked off, no apology from the security staff or the staff member of the store. Word of advice to the staff member if you weren't leaving the store unattended maybe you would have prevented the item being stolen and instead of accusing your paying customers pay attention to your store! Horrible, went in there today with my partner who purchased a purse when I was then followed through the shopping centre and accused of stealing a wallet, had to empty all my pockets and was searched in front of all other customers of the centre. Maybe if the staff managing the store stayed in there and didn't continuously leave the store unattended they may have noticed when the wallet was stolen and who by rather than accusing their innocent customers and not even apologising! I can assure you this is the first and last time my partner and I will be purchasing or going into the store. Be careful if you're in there purchasing something or even just browsing.
