I keep adding photos of the Bircher because I can't order anything else- it's so good. In fact I will say it is the best Bircher in Sydney...

Hidden away down a little lane near Ewen's hardware, this place is the ultimate slashy establishment. Cafe/Resturant/Pub. We came for breakfast and loved the casual atmosphere. There aren't too many seats but it wasn't too busy so we easily found a table. The waiter was busy making coffee but quickly stopped what he was doing to get us a baby high chair.
I ordered the bircher and it was incredible. I can't explain why, but the tasty yeasty oats were so creamy, the chef had made a fresh berry coulis and the combination of mint and the fresh berries added a wonderful complexity to the flavours.
The coffee was amazing too, and one of the first places to understand my 'Latte' with extra milk request. We will definitely be back to try some of thier other slashies.
