Strappers Loft is located in Arcadia in the Hornsby Shire and is part of the North Shore region. It is close to the stunning Berowra Waters, one of the best kept secrets in Australia. It is on the doorstep of some of the most beautiful & scenic waterways and bushland within an hour from the centre of Sydney. Arcadia is known as Sydney's best kept rural secret and is the perfect place for a relaxing escape. It is located approximately 45 minutes from Sydney CBD and halfway between Galston village and the beautiful Berowra Waters, gateway to the magnificent Hawkesbury River.
Strappers Loft Holiday Accommodation is nestled away on 25 acres which backs onto a stunning gorge and thousands of acres of national park. This beautifully presented cottage is self sufficient with all water being pure rain water. All of the gardens are watered by an envirocycle septic system and the tranquil lake. Vegetables and citrus are grown on the property and excellent fruit and meats are grown locally in Sydney's 'Garden Shire' ~ the Hills District.
So enjoy your stay - if you wish you can collect your own fresh eggs from the chickens for breakfast and pat the horses. There is a large array of wildlife at your doorstep. You can watch the eagles soar or watch the wallabies take their twilight feed. Many water fowl and reptiles inhabit the lake and on warm days you can leap off pride rock and swim in the clean unpolluted waters. There are many local attractions.
