Have used this business many times over the years, 2x radio installations, purchasing parts etc... just got a new 2nd hand car that had a Bluetooth setup which I am totally unaware of how it works... went to this business 11am Monday, (there was not one customer in shop)... I mentioned to management that if I could get them to look at car so they can then tell me what I need to buy from them... Their reply was that they would charge me to have a look!.. even though I would be buying something from them... I said 'how much' and their reply was $20 for up to 5 mins... I said not to worry and walked out. I went down the road to another business and they were very happy to assist me and I ended up buying from them.... In a time when u can buy just about everything online and with retail struggling, I would have thought that trying to assist customers (repeat customers) that come to you would be of very high importance...obviously not... my advice is don't bother ...read more
As you can imagine we get customers dropping in everyday with Bluetooth problems from car kits we haven't supplied and/or installed, sometimes Bluetooth problems can take up to half hour to diagnose and repair, and customers offer no money and just drive away never to be seen again, which can be very costly when operating a business, we have a policy now to charge a minimum fee to spend time fixing their Bluetooth problems. I appreciate your business, I was not unaware you were a previous customer when you entered the store, if I did I would of happily helped with your problem, so I am sorry. and believe me I was very busy with online sales, emails ect.., regardless, If you ever decide to change your mind in light of this response and consider using us again, please come and see me personally, mention this review, and ill make sure you are well looked after. Wasn't happy with the service. They were rude, over charged and said that they would put things back where they belonged and failed to do that. Wanted to charge me extra for them to have a look. Never received a condition report on this that were and weren't working in the car. Over all am not happy with these people.
Strathfield's installation fees in general are a bit steep ($99 for a head-unit) but the service and expertise is good. The guy that does the bookings etc at Brookvale is very specific about when he can accommodate the job which makes it easier for pick-up & drop-off times.
