We had tight timelines to get a leaky roof restored and Strongguard met the time frame and did an awesome job! The crew were extremely professional, friendly and had great advice for other parts of the roof we were not getting restored (carport, patio, etc.). Roof looks amazing and we couldn't recommend the team more!

What should have been a 4 day job took over 1 month. They damaged our property in multiple places and took weeks to remove the asbestos and rubbish. They came out twice to quote, and still got measurements wrong causing further delays. We found a large piece of asbestos (30cm x 10cm) in our yard, where our 8 year old son plays; they also scraped asbestos down the side of the house, leaving residue. The initial team did such a bad job, they had to get another team out to repair the mistakes and finish the remaining half of the job. This team made out they were doing us a big favour because they had to drive from Brisbane and one of them even told me he would rather be at home cuddling his wife? It has been a stressful, upsetting, expensive experience for a mediocre job. There are other roofing companies - I suggest you call them before contacting Strongguard.

As you are aware, there were reasons for the delays including weather, a very poorly constructed extension we had to negotiate, quoting extra work you wanted to include and not being able to obtain exact measurements for materials until after some removal had taken place.
We do try our best to make every job run smoothly, with as little inconvenience to our customers as is possible. The clear majority of our customers understand this and appreciate our efforts. You have ended up with a well-constructed roof and gutter job at the quoted price, with all the associated asbestos clearance certificates, engineering approval and warranties. I was proud of my team persevering to achieve a good outcome despite what was a challenging work environment.

We got almost all of our gutters replaced on a very high and awkward queenslander that sits very close to the houses either side. Tim who came out and did the quote was fantastic, great price and the team who did the replacement was excellent. We also had a leak that noone else could fix and they did that without a drama. I would recommend them to anyone needing roof work. My parents have since used them and also had a great experience.
Dont be fooled by their advertising. Spent $11,500 on roofing over an existing aluminium pergola and found that the Blue Scope Custom Orb roofing was installed at a pitch less than 5 degrees, which is contrary to the Australian Standards and manufacturers warranty. No flashing was installed around the perimeter of the frame and no anti-condensation sheeting was installed which protects the ceiling below from moisture.
There are leaks into this ceiling and Strong Guard accepts no responsibity. Very unprofessional.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback, as this dispute is still before the QBCC, we will only highlight that the ceiling damage seems to have been due to a failure of the "interior" materials used for the "external" ceiling.
Further to our previous comment, the QBCC has ruled that we are not responsible for the damage due to underlying deficiencies with the ceiling products used. This ruling was also held up following a QBCC review requested by the owner.
They sent someone out, the staff shows up a little early, calls me because the staff is there I'm not. First thing starts telling me all the negatives and difficulties about my house with doing the job. Doesn't do any real measurements leaves after looking around telling me they will do the quote on the Friday they confirm me details. Still waiting, will never use this company or recommend them to anyone. Hence someone else will be getting the job of re guttering and painting my house. Someone else who is more professional and does what they say they will.
