Studio 144

Jazz recently cut my hair, she was a delightful woman who listened to what I wanted done and was able to translate that to a very well executed hairstyle. She was also very efficient and her job was done with minimum of fuss. Thank you Jazz.

I'm not sure if I'm relieved or saddened to read that I'm not alone in my experience of poor service. I wish the hairdresser well. Take care

I have been a semi regular customer at Studio 144 for many years. I admit that I'm not that great at regularly getting my hair cut, colored etc. I have always found the staff to be delightful and understanding of my needs. Recently I went in and gave the hairdresser free reign to do whatever she wanted, what she thought would suit me best. I wanted a change. I could not be happier with the result. It was a fantastic style and a two tone color combination that really worked. Totally different to my normal hair style. What I did was risky but it really paid off. There is no way I could have trusted anyone to do that but the staff at Studio 144 as they know what they are doing. They listen to me, I listen to them and the results speak for themselves. I need to do this more often, be pampered having my hair done, enjoy a coffee, read a bit and come out relaxed and looking and feeling better. Keep up the great work guys! I'll be back in soon.

Decided to try studio 144 after reading the recent positive reviews. Once arrived I was made to feel like a nuisance by the hairdresser. They were very dismissive and condescending when I was communicating what I wanted and felt highly uncomfortable by their behaviour. I even tried to make conversation and again their demeanor made me feel like I shouldn't have even tried to address them they were not friendly at all. If you're after friendly service and a great quality cut DO NOT go here.

I have been attending Studio 144 for over 5 years now. The team members are welcoming, and likewise they are attentive to your needs (even remembering you by name) which adds to the community feel! All the staff work efficiently together and are never in a hurry to get you out the door! Dom is my regular hairdresser who demonstrates quality hairdressing, while he acknowledges my likes/dislikes and goes the extra mile to respond to my requests. I am very happy with the service!
