BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! DO NOT BOOK WITH STUDS AFLOAT!!! THEY WILL HAPPILY COLLECT YOUR MONEY, CANCEL AT THE LAST MINUTE AND NOT REFUND YOU!!! We had the worst experience with studs Afloat. I contacted Studs Afloat for a Hen's Party which was to be held on the 2nd of December 2017. This was booked in by Studs Afloat and I went through and paid a total of $970.00 which they confirmed that they had recieved. On the 2nd of December at midday, the day of the Hen's Party (which was to start at 6:30pm) 'Steve' from Studs Afloat rang me for the first time to inform me that the Studs Afloat cruises do not operate in December and that he had made an error with the dates booked. He verbally confirmed that he would give me a full refund of $970.00. I forwarded my bank account details to Studs Afloat and I am still waiting for my refund of $970.00 for the cancellation of the cruise I have paid for. Hi Vee - my name is Mel and I went through the same thing you did ! I was just wondering how you have gone in getting a refund from these guys?
Hi Mel, I have continued to try get into contact with Studs Afloat again with no response. The phone dials out to their voicemail. I have reported Studs Afloat to NSW Fair Trading and the Australian Competition Consumer Commission (ACCC). I have still not received my refund and the even was back in December. Don’t risk it with Studs Afloat!
