I was a loyal customer, I have been going to Stylz for a few years now continually buying their products but won't be any longer.
Basically on this occasion, I asked for one of their 'Super Value Packages'. They took 2 and a half hours to put a colour & basic treatment through my hair. All this time and they hadn't even got to the actual hair cut yet. I explained that I needed to go and asked could I skip the hair cut. One of the hairdressers who was blow-drying my hair said that they would need to GHD my hair and they would charge me extra if I wasn't getting it with the cut. They didn't put any serum in my hair after the blow-dry to keep my hair from frizzing. I have been going here for years and love the work and the service, the only bad experience I have had was when they wanted to try a new brand of colours and I gave them permission and the colour ran, but as soon as i went back they fixed it straight away without charge.
They are a good bunch of girls and make spending a few hours in a hair dressers a more enjoyable experience.
They are doing the hair for my wedding and I wouldn't have anyone else but them do it.
I have been happy with my hair colour and cut after visiting this salon, in the past. In fact I have been a loyal customer for many years now, however, I've recently felt discouraged from returning to this salon. This is partly because I felt that my (usual) expectations were no longer being met. I also felt that one of the senior hairdressers at this establishment acted unprofessionally towards me and did not respond to the customer's needs in an appropriate manner. I was quite surprised by this, but other collegues have confirmed that they have had similar experiences at this salon.
For these reasons I will not be returing to this business after the negative experiences I've had on more than one occasion.
