Subida is a contemporary spin on Spanish cuisine with a focus on Spain's vibrant culture, relaxed style of eating and their fresh, delicious flavours.Taking inspiration from time spent traveling in Spanish cities such as San Sebastian, Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia, Subida's chef Justin Schott is plating up fun, fresh and flavoursome Spanish food.
"Our restaurant is a modern spin on Spanish cuisine. My love for Spanish food stems from several trips to different areas, such as San Sebastian, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia. I love the style of eating, how casual it is, how easy it is, how clean the flavours are, how delicious everything is. At Subida we want to bring all these experiences to life for our guests. We want to create memories of Spain and present them in our own way. People can eat as much or as little as they like, sit back, have a drink and just have a great time."
The menu is our interpretation of Spanish Pintxos and Tapas. Pintxos (pronounced peen-chos) at Subida, are a modern spin on the classic Spanish snacks. They are designed to be enjoyed individually or to share as a starter.
Our tapas are more substantial than Pintxos, Tapas are small savoury dishes, designed to share in a group, to experience the different Spanish flavours.
