When Sub-Urban first opened it brought life back into the surrounding shops and improving Dickson as a Suburb, and ultimately Canberras Northern Suburbs.

The Classy art deco and clean cut fresh styling coupled with fun and outgoing staff combining the outstanding food of Canberra's Belluici's Restaurants made available to both dinners and pub patrons is a fantastic combination. When we arrived the restaurant was pretty empty but the place quickly filled up once the lunch hour hit. Sub-Urban by Belluci's had a really cool retro vibe and great decor. (Definitely worth checking out the restrooms too!)



We started lunch off with a couple of drinks. A stellar flat white for me a great tasting amber ale for my husband. The service was good and the food came out promptly.



I had the Rogan Josh- curried lamb, served with jasmine rice, poppadoms, and mint yogurt. It has just the right amount of heat and the yogurt was the perfect match for the lamb.



My husband ordered the Carnavale pizza- pepperoni, chorizo, ham, and bacon with a smoky BBQ sauce. The pizza was delicious. Crust could have been a little crispier, but the meats were very tasty!



Would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area!
