Quite a good subway. Can get busy at peak periods but they seem to keep the line going pretty fast. They are decent on the servings and the sauce (my favourite). The staff are really nice and the place looks clean. The only thing is their minimum on eftpos is $6, so either bring cash for those small purchases or they force you to buy a cookie (oh no...).
I rarely eat subway but when I occassionally do I think 'why don't I eat this more often?'. It's quick, they have a great variety of toppings and it is affordable. I think it comes down to the bread... today it is all about artisan sourdough and multigrain spelt. A white baked-on-site foot long role just dosen't quite cut it. Nice from time to time but certainly not my go-to lunch location.
This humbly spaced Subway is located in the midst of a busy precinct filled with restaurants serving authentic cuisines from different parts of the Asian countries. If you happen to be in the area and are in craving for something different, a staple that is quick and healthy, then this place should probably be on your list.
Although this Subway is quite small with only limited dining-in seats, high stools and wall tables, the store actually feels spacious and comfortable. The shop looks very clean, tidy, and well lit - thanks to the floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows that allow natural light to brighten up the otherwise a normal looking store.
The staffs are very prompt and do things very quickly like I have come to expect from Subway restaurants in the CBD during lunch break hours. I ordered the BLT sub and it was fresh and tasted just like I expected it to be.
