Located on Bourke Street, this cafe is situated amongst a few other food outlets. It was a bright sunny day so the outdoor seating beckoned us to dine al fresco today. There is also more seating inside if the weather isn’t great.
The service is nice and they’ll bring menus and take your order at the table. Once finished you can make payment at the front counter.
There was a wide range of cafe style food available so we stuck to Pumpkin Salad & Club Sandwich With Chips. Food is quite tasty and definitely satisfied our hunger. They serve Campos coffee which is one of our favs.
Sugarbaby is located right on top of Mascot's underground train station, on the street level of the apartment above. It occupies a relatively small shop that could probably cater for a few people indoors, but it also has a cosy large outdoor seats overflowing the court with tables and seats.
I stumbled across this restaurant from an online ordering app. I decided to order eggs benedict and get it ready in advance. To my surprise, the food was ready in probably less than 10 minutes after I ordered it. As a takeaway dish, the food presentation was very underwhelming but it tasted quite alright, with one of the poached eggs being perfect and another one slightly less runny. Overall, it was an OK dish with quite an affordable price. The staffs were quite busy that day and did not give me a takeaway cutlery until I had to ask for one, although one staff (whom I believe is the owner) was a lot more attentive.
