Sugardough Panificio and Patisserie is a delightful bakery in Brunswick East that bakes its own fresh, steaming breads and mouth watering sweet treats. It also serves a light lunch and soup, if you come in the middle of the day and feel like something more substantial. Meanwhile, the décor is quirky and cute, with plates hanging from the green walls, adorable French provincial tables and plenty of cakes on display waiting to be ordered. What more could you want?
People raved about this place to me until I finally had to try it. It's a cute little caf with a slightly retro feel to it. The hot chocolate was nice and the quiche was fairly decent but I had trouble understanding what all the fuss was about. I thought the food was slightly expensive for the limited range and venue.
