This pub is located literally across from Summer Hill Train station. It has a lovely courtyard in the back, a bistro, pool table and a games room. I've been to the pub a few times, once for Trivia, another time to soak up the NRL atmosphere and yet another time for dinner and drinks. In all 3 visits, i found the staff to be friendly, the pub to be clean, facilities modern, food to be reasonably priced and generous and all around atmosphere to be pleasant. I understand the pub closes at 3am, which is rare for a suburban hotel - rare but good! All around thumbs up -I have no doubt i'll patron the venue again in the near future.

l bet in there tab about every weekend and sometimes through the week.They only have 3 or 4 windows ,i bet in $200 or $500or $1000 bets win or eachway only they all know me yet today i placed my card in machine $500 win on a horse $1.90 fixed odds ,the machine had not been switched over to take bets of this size, their excuse was they had forgot to turn that machine over but had done other 2. What a lame excuse they only had to do the 3 or 4 machines ,one push of a button ,why would they stop there????SORRY WAS WHAT I GOT BUT IT COST ME $450 PROFIT. I went and asked for a manager and only another sorry but no money.
Tucked away in the Summerhill shops is this small hotel. It serves lunch and dinner and every day there is a special deal. Thursdays are Parma and Pot for $12 and Fridays is Fish and Chips. Meals are very generous in size. You can also get a toasted sandwich and chips for $5. Good value meals. The place is clean and tidy and seems to be quite popular with the locals. Plenty of parking available and there is good access for prams and wheelchairs.
