In this situation I believe that you pay for what you get. I know my policy is not the cheapest available, but neither is it the dearest. But when it comes to insurance, the true value of your policy is only known when you come to make a claim.
I have made about 5 claims over the past 16 years, both home and motor vehicle. I can confidently say the claims process has been very easy and stress free every single time.
Our most recent claim involved a glass breakage on a Sunday. Suncorp were able to get a glass company out to our property on the Sunday to ensure the glass was safe and no further breakage would occur. The repairs were then completed within a few days.
