Sunny Seafood Restaurant

Yes I have had a few bad experiences in my time with the service or lack of customer service, but I have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years, and this food has never let me down. I brought my family here for christmas last year 9 of us for just over $350 and we were all satisfied afterwards. After the big meal you get complimentary fruit or biscuits. I think the soft drink is expensive for a jug at $16 when I can get a 1.5 litre at coles across the road in the train station at $2.00. Overall I have always loved the food they just need a little more organisational management and cheaper soft drinks for our kids. All kids love soft drink it shouldn't be so dear for the little ones.

Food & service fine til bill time. Bill came to something 76 cents and was told this rounds up to 80 cents as they don't take 5 cent coins. Then gave us receipt for 5 cents less than amount actually paid at something 75 cents. No chance of receipt matching amount paid as really wanted that 5 cents - at least she smiled. Will be my last impression for quite a while....

Went there for Chinese New Year and the service was TERRIBLE! We booked a table for 8pm and had to wait an hour and the kids all missed out on the dragon dance. Turned out they were greedy and gave our table to someone else at 7pm and they weren't told we were coming! Never coming here again. (Although the waiters were nice, it was just the very poor management team)

I never liked this restaurant. I went there a few times when they were on Forest Road and feel the service was quite rude. I went to the new location once on a public holiday with a group of friends and we were charged about 15% surcharge for the public holiday. The dish was already very expensive. I never went back because I don't think I can get the value for my money.

Just had dinner there for Chinese New Year - the food was not cheap, the service was acceptable, but the food came VERY slowly, and to top it all off, the food just wasn't tasty. The restaurant itself is beautiful and new, with very modern and clean restrooms, but apart from that, it's hard to recommend.
