I would like to say how happy I was with my mother's first respite stay which was in Sunnymead Caboolture. Although it was not the closest Aged Care Facility I chose this nursing home for the attention to detail and standard of care for which I was searching. Mum was very hesitant and trying hard not to be upset as I drove away but I needn't have worried.
When I returned 10 days later, she had put on a healthy amount of weight, knew her way around and took forever to say her goodbyes to friends she had made.
