While staying in our refurbished early settlers local stone cottage, circa 1864, you will be able to experience the haunting nature of Hanging Rock and the volcanic caldera of Mt. Macedon. Visit the townships of Woodend, Lancefield & Kyneton for restaurant's, farmers market's, antiques & collectables. The cool climate Macedon wine region is growing in reputation with exquisite Sparkling and Pinot wines available from the cellar doors.
Sunnyside Cottage caters for Bed & Breakfast, with provisions supplied for a full breakfast including a freshly baked loaf of bread each morning. The cottage is also available for short or long stays, with a self catering option.
The spacious cottage has a full kitchen with dining area, queen size bed in the main bedroom and a lounge room with comfortable modern couches. One of the couches converts to a queen size sofa bed for extra guests. The lounge has a wood combustion heater installed in the bluestone fire place, for those romantic evenings with a glass of local wine. Panoramic doors take you from the lounge to your private deck, to wonder at the scenic views over the Deep Creek valley, to the Cobaw Ranges. The deck has a barbeque and outdoor setting for those alfresco meals.
