Sunshine Leisure Centre

We were in the area a month or so ago and wanted to use the swimming facility was a casual walk in customer. Run and operated by the local Brimbank council. Prices for casual entrance were Adult: $6 Child (3-15 years): $4.60 which I found to be really reasonable compared to other council run facility. The centre does require a little makeover though, I found it to be a bit run down, simply needs to be modernized a little and a bit cleaner in the change room. The indoor water temperature was ok, not too cold or over warm. My little one enjoyed the facility which was important.

I like the outdoor pool area. It's a good temperature and it isn't too shallow. Great during summer for lap swimming or just playing around. The indoor pool is very shallow and if you're doing laps, you'll often find your hands touching the floor on the shallow end. Not a very clean pool, chewing gum and other things can be found on the bottom of the pool from time to time. If it wasn't for the outdoor pool, I probably wouldn't go back. The pricing here is good, the steam room is included in the price and the staff are friendly here.
