Despite some negative reviews online, we were highly recommended to dine there by our hotel staff and some locals. We were glad we dined there because the food was amazing, best thai we've had anywhere. A very enjoyable evening, we will certainly be back again before we head home.
I have just dined at the Sunshine Thai Restaurant and had my worst meal served to me in 20yrs. The broccoli had seen better days. I ordered chicken stir fry with cashews. The meal looked and tasted like slops. Vegetables served consisted of cabbage, tomato, mushrooms, pineapple, lots of carrots etc. It was as if there were vegetables going off and had to be used up urgently and they landed on my plate.
We note that the dish was good enough for Linepin to consume and pay for without complaint to staff at the time. Surely if it was as bad as Linepin asserts, we would expect Linepin to have raised a complaint at the time. As all vegetables are purchased fresh daily, prepared and cooked authentically by Thai cooks with a minimum of 5 years service with us.

Would never go back. Very frustrating dining experience. Very noisy inside. Ignored for first 20mins and had to seek out wait staff for menus and to order drinks. Waited about an hour to get 1 of the 4 entrees we ordered. 20 mins later second entree came. Had to follow up with staff and remind wait staff of what we ordered. Other 2 entrees never arrived. Waited 1 hr 50mins from arrival for main meals. No apologies. One of the main meals was incorrect. Upon leaving and giving our feedback the management said we'd only waited 50mins for the mains. Wait staff argued with us denying we had the above problems. Not the night we had in mind when we booked.
