Pretty disappointed actually. Rang to find out if they specialise in setting up SMSF (something their website brags about - that they are the largest SMSF Specialists on the GC) and to talk through our plans of investing in a rural business through setting up a SMSF.
Sounded very promising and so spent about an hour on the phone giving them all our details and arranging an appointment (which TBH, now makes me feel like they were just collecting marketing info from us), only to be called up 2 days before the appointment to tell us their firm "doesn't really handle SMSF with 'out-of-the-ordinary' goals".
Umm, hello, that's WHY we wanted to talk to you, so that you could help us navigate our goals and tell us what could and couldn't be done.
Definitely wouldn't recommend based on this experience.
