A local comic book shop!!
And the lovely gent behind the counter was making wolverine out of clay. Adorbs. The figurine and the guy. I could have sat and watched for hours. The best I can make from clay is possibly a rubics cube. Without the colours on. With wonky lines.
Err
Back to the comic bookshop though!
They have a huge range of bobble heads, I squealed a bit when I noticed that they had some gremlins ones. Remember those?!! Too cute.
I picked up a new comic, because well, I just had to! Hello christmas edition of Grimms! The cover alone was the reason I had to have it.
And we were on our merry way. There is not a huge huge selection, but I dare say that you'll find what you want, or if you can't... ask Mr Clay whisperer behind the counter to sort you out!
Okay, while I’m not a huge fan of comic books, if I see a comic book store I simply have to step inside and have a look around, and also buy something, if only to add another review to Truelocal – particularly ones relating to comic book stores namely because there tend not to be as many reviews for them as other places. Anyway, this is basically your typical geeky hideaway with lots of comics, collectables, and numerous games that you wouldn’t find in your typical store. Okay, they do have monopoly, but lots, and lots of non-standard versions of it. They even have a small place for the collectable comics. All in all it is your typical comic book store with a pretty decent range of products. In a way, especially if you are a geek at heart, you are sure to find something that will grab your attention.
