On the whole, my fence and gates look good and work fine. But I'll be seeking another business when I get another fence done. SFG charge a premium price but I wasn't happy with their service.
Three issues in particular are worth noting:

Peter, we are pleased to hear that you are happy with your new colorbond fence and gates, although disappointed to hear that you were not happy with our service. I shall address your issues: 1) Unfortunately your installation date was changed due to the installer injuring his back and unable to work. We were still in the process of trying to arrange for another installer to complete your work when you phoned but, as you know, it was not possible. 2) As you were advised, your colorbond gates have been manufactured as per design. Your gates will not and do not retain water indefinitely. The small amount of water that may get in will evaporate. 3) Your neighbour, who actually organized for Superior Fences and Gates to meet at his property to quote for the colorbond fencing on the common boundary between his property and yours, decided the colour for this section of fencing would be Harvest.
. Then, when measuring your job, you were unsure of a colour selection and advised that if you chose to accept our quote you would then confirm a colour. When you contacted our office to accept your quote, you advised Paperbark for your gates and returns. Both Harvest and Paperbark are very popular choices. I have been working at Superior Fences and Gates for 30 years and the company has been in the area for 50 years. Never have we received feedback such as yours regarding colour selection. Yes, look for a smaller business, we do refer to reputable small businesses for small work and we have a very good relationship with those we refer to. I would just suggest that if you do deal directly with the installer, ensure that he is licensed and will be around in time to come to honour a warranty.
Please pass on to those involved that I am very happy with the pool fencing; it looks fabulous. Thanks to Darron for his suggestions on the layout of the fence and to Rob for the fantastic finish to the fence. It has been a pleasure to deal with the professionalism of the staff involved in the process of quoting and building this wonderful fence. I will be recommending you to all.
