Superspine offers advanced diagnostic and treatment options for people that have pain arising primarily from the neck, back and pelvis. We currently provide specialist and senior level physiotherapy that addresses both sports and spinal injuries including peripheral joints.
Rob Laird, specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist (FACP) and Paoline Li, have joined with DorsaVi Pty. Ltd., a motion sensor technology company, to create an evidence-based clinic that provides optimized, efficient management of musculo-skeletal injury by using advanced practice, specific exercise, and new technology. The motion sensor technology is used diagnostically and therapeutically by quantifying spine and lower limb function (acceleration, angles, ground reaction forces, symmetry etc).
As well as working at Superspine, Rob works with Austin Hospital based neurosurgeons on a weekly basis and is experienced at high level neurosurgical physiotherapy triage. He is also completing a PhD at Monash University on identifying and treating movement dysfunction in people with back pain.
