Surfers Paradise Parasailing and Jetski Hire Gold Coast

Went today for my fianves 32nd birthday. What great fun!! Staff are so friendly and so welcoming. A true unforgettable experience. Highly recommended A+

Ive set myself a challenge this summer to experience some water adventures! My last adventure challenge was in 2004 when I went Sky Diving (which was amazing by the way!) so I thought it was about time that I did something new! Im not exactly a lover of heights (I know, your thinking sky dive, parasail she must be nuts!) but every now and then I just want to do something a little outside my comfort zone. My challenge involves Parasailing and so Jordan (aka husband) and I headed to the sunny gold coast to make this happen! The best bit, was that our experience also included a speed boat ride and jet ski. So our adventure begins with a lot (& I mean a lot!) of sunscreen and then the fun began! Went on a tandem parasail from surfers paradise. Arrived at the location and was informed by the lady that they were running "a little late" wich turned out to be just over an hour of waiting. She then asks for the money for the parasail which was supposed to be $100 cash. She was very strict on taking my credit card details the day before and was supposed to take a $10 deposit off then. She insisted she "forgot" to take the deposit off my card and that we were to pay the full $110. Having no way to check this and left wondering if my credit card details were safe because this woman couldn't organise a lolly scramble if she tried. She then expected us to leave our valuables with her while we were parasailing (I was a little hesitant at this too) after consulting our fellow parasailers we found out we were the only ones booked at the 12.45pm slot and the hour long wait was because the others were booked at 1.45pm and the operators obviously couldn't be bothered ...read more
