Sushi Hon

For $3.30 a standard plate, the price has gone up! I found that the size has also reduced too. Not so much good value anymore for around $20 pp

Great to be back. I really enjoyed my first experience and definitely Sushi Hon is one of my favourite places for sushi & sashimi. On this occasion it felt like everyone had the same craving as me so we waited a little bit to be seated but I didn't mind the wait as it Sushi Hon is located in a great shopping centre so always something to look at. Everyone seem so stuck into their eating and selecting their plates when it pass by on the train. Funny to see at some area there was no talking because of the full concentration and i guess people really enjoying the dishes and other sections of the train there were conversations happening. Again a great and fun experience.

Definitely got my sushi train fix. Sushi Hon located in Melbourne's newest shopping complex - Emporium. Busy location for lunch and dinner. Several times walking pass and there is always a line. Although the line doesn't move as quick as in japan, the wait is reasonable. Fresh, delicious and and decent serving per plate give you the mad rush Japanese experience. Definitely looking forward to my next lunch or dinner session here. Compared to other sushi train places located in the city, i think Sushi Hon tops it for me. The selection is great and continuous ongoing top up to keep the popular dishes that are on demand is quick and efficient. The chefs have quick speedy skills prepping the plates to ensure customers are not waiting. Thumbs up.

Located in the level 3 foodcourt, the place was full even though it was way past lunch time. There is sushi train. Tried the black rice salmon/tuna which is very good! Perfectly cooked rice, full of flavour, the softness is perfect. The display sushi is reasonably priced and there are different sizes packaging which caters for different levels of hunger and budgets.
