Quick, tasty sushi for $3.30 per plate. Order with the ipads at your seat for fresh delivery just minutes later. The hand rolls are worth a try, yum. Solid option for a quick eat in town - gets busy at rush hour though so not great for big groups

The food is quite decent, and fast.

The service is a bit disappointing though. The staff were quite pushy is trying to get us to eat and then get out of the restaurant. Not the best experience.

With most sushi train dishes at $3.00 per plate (except for some specialty menu items) this place is great! Food is fresh and tasty. Go for the seared scallops nigiri, the raw scampi and lotus roots chips! Only negative is the mega long queues at peak hour - at lunch and dinner time!

This is my go-to sushi restaurant! You can order freshly made dishes on their iPad screens (I prefer this over taking food from the sushi train). The food comes out prety quickly too.

The best part is that most of their sushi dishes (including hand rolls with wagyu beef and soft shell crab!) are the same price, $3.30! This sets Sushi Hotaru apart from other sushi restaurants. There is also a 10% discount if you pay with cash.

I highly recommend Sushi Hotaru for a casual lunch or dinner catch-up with friends. Unfortunately the restaurant is a bit small so the seats can be a bit cramped, which means you probably won't stay long. However, it's definitely worth visiting for the tasty, great value sushi.
