Omg. I can't tell you how bad the experience was there. The food prep staff have no hygiene standards whatsoever, From answering the phone sending text messages with their gloves on and not changing them afterwards to sweeping the floor once again with gloves on but it was all topped off when one of the food preppers actually dropped food on the floor and proceeded to put it back in the container..!
Beware. Great potential if only they cared for hygiene. I watched one of the staff SNIFF meat from the fridge to determine if it was off - I guess she decided it was ok and started prepping it. Let’s not talk about the glove situation. Oh and brown stained water glasses. How is this allowed to happen. I’ll be looking to complain to Council about this place.
This is one of my families favourite places to eatout. We are regulars and have never had any complaints with the food or staff. They can get busy and you may have to wait up to 30 mins to get in but then that to me says the restaurant is worth eating at. Sushi is reasonably priced for the more unique dishes but if you want standard sushi ie tuna or chicken avocado then there are cheaper options elsewhere. We have tried a few of the meals as well and they have been solid but nothing special.
Tried this one out on a whim, it was quite busy for weekend lunch! Options were reasonably priced, though nothing particularly stood out - perhaps I ordered the wrong dishes. Unfortunately the curry was unavailable so I tried a few assorted sushi options, which were solid but in some cases a little underwhelming. Not a bad experience, but I will probably will go in search of a better option nearby!
