Sushi Samurai

A great restaurant that is extremely popular at dinner. Many of the tables were already reserved when we arrived at 6pm. You order from the iPads but they also provide a printed menu so you can more easily browse what is on offer. Key dishes I enjoyed include the carpaccio salmon, squid with butter and the takoyaki.

Tucked away in the corner, is this hidden gem of cuisine! Generous portions and amazing variety!

Now called Izakaya Sushi, this favourite local Japanese restaurant has been hit with technology with ipads on every table! You can now order your favourite dishes at a touch of a button. Happy hour from 6pm to 7pm also means there are amazing specials. Their sushi and sashimi boat was 1/2 price and they also have an amazing party pack meal for $25 per person... it was delicious and we left feeling incredibly full and content. For $25 you get sashimi, tempura, sushi, hot pot, edamame, karage chicken, lotus and so much more! The staff as very helpful and friendly plus beer is as cheap as $5 including a side dish.

I'd definitely recommend you try this place especially before 7pm!

Never been to the branch in the city, but this restaurant does very nicely on both the quality of food and service. Happy to come back regularly.

One of my favourite Japanese restaurants ever, I come here with my family every week or so, and the service provided is always friendly and very efficient. Food is great as well, they both have special set menus for lunch and dinner.
