Sushi Train has always been my go to place when I want a satisfying, quick and cheap feed. The average plate price is approximately $3.30 and a little goes a long way. The choices that they have available are satisfying to all and they can even do special plates for people with dietary requirements.
I find that that this particular sushi train has a lot more chicken variety dishes than most. This is fantastic considering I don't eat seafood. When going to other restaurants it's always a challenge to find ample chicken based dishes.
In my years of dining at the Sushi Train, I have never had to wait long for a seat. Friday and Saturday nights are when the Sushi Train gets at its busiest. It's advised that you get in early just to ensure that you can get a seat.
All in all, a fantastic eating experience that's suitable for lunch and dinner.
High-quality, excellent and good-value sushi. This "express" Sushi Train is a must for those looking to try out Japanese cuisine. At $3.30 per plate for basically everything, it's great value for deliciously fresh sushi. But be careful, I was so taken in with the food that I continued eating dozens of plates, which costed me - but it was worth it.
Staff say "Irasshaimase" every time someone enters the Sushi Train; it has a very friendly atmosphere, however some of the staff did not smile or immediately attend to your calls (but that was only some of the staff). Otherwise, the chef and cooks were very nice and efficient in making all the food fresh right in front of you!
Loved it! Recommend to anyone passing by or just wanting sushi!
Great for a quick eat before a movie or a gig at Metro Theatre across the street. Sushi is fresh and made right in front of you, service is friendly and efficient and everything tastes as good as it looks! Highly recommend the hot chicken roll or chicken karaage if you're lucky enough to see it pass you by on the train. Prices are reasonable, and when they do the cheap plate months it's even better. Also a great place to eat solo without feeling self-conscious.
