Beautiful Indian cuisine, probably the best Indian i have have eaten from a takeaway.

Staff clearly have had no training I tried to leave the restaurant after i picked the food up and i was stopped and made to stand and wait for five minutes while the staff behind the counter when into the kitchen to find the person i had given money too. I was not impressed. I also arrived to order 30 minutes after opening (5.30) and was told to please "go away and come back"in 20 minutes...then it was 30, so i came back in 40 and STILL had to wait. I tried smiling thru this whole experience but i was exhausted by the end and the probably did put a damper on the food

The automatic reaction to small local restaurants outside of the main eating strips is that they are unlikely to be somewhere you would go for a quality meal or take your guests or friends to. Surprise!!! The aromas temp you even before you walk into the door. A welcoming place with tasteful layout and decor - just enough Indian atmosphere to make it feel special. The food arrives and you immediately know that this is going to be memorable. The chicken tandoor entree was not only flavoursome but superbly presented - photo taken. Prawn Malibar and Lamb Ghoost were equally marvelous as was the garlic naan. Too full for desserts. Vegetarians catered for too. Would go back any day. Being out of the city means reasonable prices and no parking issues.
