Sweet Basil Thai Restaurant

Up until about march this year we were regulars twice a week we found the kitchen staff were very willing to talk about their food then a problem started and the service droped off we noticed a couple of times there were arguments about the quality of food then we were told that the kitchen cooking staff had walked out now the shop is up for sale?

We love Thai, and were excited about trying this one, we will never come back as we found some of the staff a little arrogant. The food was tasteless, and the peanuts in the Massaman were staled. Go the extra few kilometers and try elsewhere.

Just came home totally furious. We have been regulars here for several months since coming home to Oz and have enjoyed both the food and the company, with one exception - It\'s a family business and have always found the kitchen staff a bit insincere. With humble apologies to the rest of the family whom we still like and respect, after tonight\'s performance from them, we can never come back to your restaurant, ever. To the folks out there, it\'s a good suburban restaurant with nice enough Thai food, but the treatment we just received from one particular staff was beyond the pail. There is no excuse for embarrassing your good regular customers in front of other patrons, ever.

We ate here a while ago and loved it. Unfortunately we tried it again recently and were extremely disappointed. The meals were not as tasty and very oily (fried rice and cashew chicken). The service is fantastic but the meals were not worth the money.

Since the new ownership the food and service is fantastic, beautiful flavours, and the owner is so good with the customers, puts a bit of fun in your didning.. I recomend them to ALL my frineds and family. Come along you won't be dissapointed.
