Syd Airport Tax & Duty Free
I haven't gone through Sydney International Departures Duty Free in a very long time so was quite excited going through as there was so much items and brands around. Super excited to see that they stocked the makeup brand 'Naked' and bought a few eyeshadow palettes as they did not sell the brand in Adelaide. The prices were good and the staff I came across were friendly nice. The service as well was top-notch :)
This shop always has impact after you come through customs! Big, bright and full of duty free goodies. Great for makeup, perfume, alcohol, watches, sunglasses, snack foods like giant Tonlerone... and the list goes on. It is a little overwhelming but open and well spaces so there is good stock visibility. Service is available but not pushy.
I have mixed feelings of this place. Some assistants were warms be helpful, but there was one staff who pretty much followed me and glared when I used the testers.. The staff than proceeded to tell me that if I put too many different products on my hand it would peel off my skin... I obviously didn't buy anything after that comment. The staff in the perfume area were much nicer, letting me sample different fragrances and taking their time to let me browse...
