Sydney Developmental Clinic

We were very hopeful that we would receive help with our daughter but we’re extremely disappointed with our treatment. First we waited over 9 months to be seen. Initial consultation and assessment cost over $1000. Afterwards We were promised a written report within a week. After two weeks I called and was promised again. It took 11 weeks from our appointment date to receive the report. It gave us a diagnosis and some helpful support however I was horrified to read other children’s names used thoughout the report- obviously cut and pasted. I definitely can not recommend treatment with this clinic. I’m sorry we wasted our money and more importantly precious time trying to help our child.

My son has been a patient of this clinic for 12 years and I cannot speak too highly of the help I have received over the years. My son completed his HSC last year and got into university. When I first went to the clinic I would never have believed this was possible. Thank goodness I found them! For anyone else who was the way I was 12 years ago, all I can say is - Don't give up hope!

I was very happy with the service I received, and can recommend the clinic. The staff were excellent and my child received a comprehensive assessment and an full management plan. We received the results the day after the assessment and a full report one week later. I can understand why the clinic is so popular.

Hello i just want to inform others how unhappy i am with this service. After waiting 9 months for an appointment, paying $740 and spending the whole day at the centre, obviously i am anxious for results. I was informed by the Dr to ring for verbal results in 2 days. I called several times and left many messages with the receptionsists and was informed that the Dr would ring me back. It is now 2 weeks later and i still havent heard back. I think this shows very little consideration to us anxious families waiting to hear a diagnosis. Im not sure when ill get the results back but if it is to take several weeks then we should be informed that on the appointment day.
