A/Prof Chris White is the Director of the Department of Endocrinology at the Prince of Wales Hospital that provides inpatient and ambulatory care for patients with Diabetes and Endocrine Disease. Endocrinology is associated with hormonal disorders of the thyroid, pituitary, adrenal and reproductive glands as well as metabolic disorders of bone & calcium homeostasis. A/Prof White is the Clinical Director of the analytical endocrine services at SEALS and BMD at the Royal Hospital for Women. He is a Conjoint Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of NSW and supports the Obstetric Medicine Service at the RHW. His research interests include the role of Vitamin D in bone cell biology and interactions between bone mineral and carbohydrate metabolism.
